History
Ascenso Tires North America is built on a legacy of excellence and innovation in the tire distribution industry. Originally founded in 1970 as Tyres International, the company established itself as a trusted independent importer and distributor of high-quality truck, industrial, OTR (off-the-road), and agricultural tires.
In 2021, Tyres International was acquired by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL), marking a new chapter as the exclusive North American distributor of Ascenso Tires. Ascenso is MTPL’s flagship off-highway tire brand, engineered for performance across agriculture, construction, industrial, and earthmover applications.
MTPL brings over 30 years of tire manufacturing expertise, backed by a state-of-the-art production facility in India. Spanning 127 acres with a capacity of 70,000 metric tons, this facility reflects MTPL’s commitment to quality, innovation, and global growth.
