Ascenso Tires North America is built on a legacy of excellence and innovation in the tire distribution industry. Originally founded in 1970 as Tyres International, the company established itself as a trusted independent importer and distributor of high-quality truck, industrial, OTR (off-the-road), and agricultural tires.
In 2021, Tyres International was acquired by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL), becoming its North American subsidiary and marking a new chapter as Ascenso Tires. Ascenso is MTPL's flagship off-highway tire brand, engineered for performance across agriculture, construction, industrial, and earthmover applications.
MTPL brings over 30 years of tire manufacturing expertise, backed by a state-of-the-art 127-acre production facility in India with an annual capacity of 85,000 to 100,000 metric tons. The facility follows eco-friendly production practices and is supported by a workforce of 2,500+, with MTPL's tires reaching more than 100 countries worldwide.
