Since the acquisition in 2021, MTPL has released and added more than 700 new sizes to our portfolio. Ascenso brand tires are now distributed in over 85 countries.
Ascenso Tires North America's plans include:
- Maintaining and supporting its customers from company warehouse facilities in Ohio, Nevada, and Georgia.
- Opening additional warehouse facilities in key geographic locations in North America to fully support new customers.
- Introducing additional products that will benefit Ascenso Tires North America's customers by improving the functionality to the end user.
History
Beginning in 1970, Tyres International operated as an independent importer and distributor of tires specializing in truck, industrial, OTR, and agricultural tires. During this time, Tyres International offered several programs to effectively distribute tires to its customers throughout North America. These programs include factory direct containers, Less-than-load (LTL), and Trailer Load (TL) shipments.
Today, Ascenso Tires North America's success and longevity are driven by the team members it brought over from Tyres International. Each team member's relentless commitment to customer service and communication that exceeds customer expectations has driven Ascenso Tires North America's growth.
In 2021, Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL) acquired Tyres to become the exclusive North American distributor of Ascenso’s line of tires. Ascenso Tyres is an off-highway tire brand owned and promoted by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL). MTPL has over 30 years of manufacturing experience and is expanding its production facilities in India to include a state-of-the-art facility, spread over 127 acres and with a manufacturing capacity of 70,000 MT. MTPL is proud of Tyres International's storied history and broad array of connections throughout the U.S.
