VDR 900
Designed for Self-Propelled Sprayers and Tractors:
VDR 900 (VF) steel belted radial tires provide a comprehensive solution for farmers and agricultural professionals to contribute to higher crop yields and sustainable farming practices. Designed for machines like self-propelled sprayers, tractors, along with straddle row dual wheels & row crops, these tires are built to handle 40% more load than a conventional radial tire, or the same load at 40% lower pressure.Advanced Traction
VF tires with reinforced lugs and a larger contact patch provide excellent traction. These features also enhance self-cleaning, reduce slippage, lower fuel consumption, and boost overall productivity.
Built-in Protection
Steel belts provide added durability, making them highly effective as puncture resistant tires. They also help distribute ground pressure evenly, which helps reduce soil compaction and minimize crop damage. The reinforced sidewalls and bead zones on these steel belted tires increase casing stiffness, enabling the tires to carry heavier loads with confidence.
Field-to-Road Transitions
Through VF technology, the more radially stiffer tire makes it possible to transition from field to road and vice versa without adjusting the pressure.
With the reduced pressure required for field use, the tire can run at full speed on the road yet deliver the same fuel efficiencies as a standard tire at road pressure.
Key Aspects of VF Technology
VF tires like the VDR 900 are specifically engineered to handle heavier loads. Key features of these tires include:
- Wide Footprint – The wide footprint helps reduce soil compaction, protecting the plants below and promoting healthier crop growth.
- Radial Design – The radial ply design of these tires provides ride comfort and fuel efficiency. They also act as a stubble guard, protecting the longevity of the tires.
- Durability – These steel belted radial tires are made from an SR compound, making them an exceptionally puncture resistant tire.
